AT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND AT HOME
Materials:
Black and yellow construction paper
Glue
Wiggle eyes
Pipe cleaners
Wax paper
Scissors
Directions:
1. Pre-cutting: Cut yellow construction paper into 4" circles. Cut black construction paper into stripes and into 2" circles. Cut wax paper into teardrop shapes (about 3" at longest point; these will be wings). There should be one yellow circle, one black circle, and two wings per child. Cut as many stripes as is appropriate.
2. Have children glue together bees. Glue the black circle at the top of the yellow circle; glue stripes across yellow body; glue wings as desired. If desired, add wiggle eyes or pipe cleaner antenna.
3. Talk about how it should be impossible for bumblebees to fly but with God, all things are possible!
