At Christmas time, we toss...
Illustration
At Christmas time, we toss a couple of quarters in some bell ringer's kettle, and we figure that we have done our duty. Or when there is a food drive for the hungry, we bring in some dented canned goods, quite often something that we did not even want to eat in the first place, something like cream of asparagus-flavored anchovies, and we toss it into the collection box. We give cautiously, always wanting to make sure that the recipient is truly worthy. How different is God's way of giving. -- Bowen
