Every morning there was a group of women who attended the 6 a.m. mass at a certain church. Each day the priest would look out and see that same group of devout women in the pews. And day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, that group of women faithfully attended the 6 a.m. service without fail. In fact, that went on for fourteen years.
Finally, one day following the service, the priest thanked the women for their faithful attendance, but he asked them if there was any special reason that motivated them to be there. And they answered, "Oh, yes, Father. We have a special prayer request that we make every morning, and so far that prayer has not been granted.
So the priest asked, "What is the favor that you have been praying for for fourteen years? And the women answered, "We`ve been praying that you would be transferred.
