John writes that Jesus is coming on the clouds and every eye will see him. In April 2005,
Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was elected pope by 117 cardinal electors. During the process
of voting, the cardinals wrote their choice for pope on a slip of paper which they laid on
the altar. Then the ballots were counted. When a vote failed to elect a pope, the ballots
were mixed with chemicals and burned, which produced puffs of black smoke. When the
vote finally elected Ratzinger, the ballots were burned without chemicals resulting in
puffs of white smoke.
