Object: a jewelry box hidden somewhere in the chancel
Good morning, boys and girls. Today I need your help to find something which seems to be missing and is a really great treasure. I know that you will be a great help to me since it is somewhere in the front of the church. It isn't lost, but it is hidden and I can tell you that it is very valuable.
How many of you like to look for things which are hidden? (let them answer) Good. Now let me tell you what it looks like. (describe your jewelry box and make it sound as valuable as you possibly can) Remember, we are looking not only for the box, but the most gorgeous jewels that you can imagine. Take good care and hunt quietly until you have found it. (when someone has found it, have him bring it back and look through the box to make sure that nothing is missing)
