The hymns, "As with Gladness Men of Old" and "Brightest and Best of the Sons of the Morning," are two beautiful hymns for the Epiphany. There is only one trouble with these beautiful poems set to music. They are both historically and biblically incorrect.
You know, we like to sing about the "Twelve Days of Christmas," when "my true love gave to me, a partridge in a pear tree." So we go through the whole song to the twelfth day of Christmas. But I venture to say that if I were to ask you what's the twelfth day of Christmas, right off, there probably would be half of you who wouldn't know.
