God calls all of us to be proclaimers. There are natural ways to do this, and there are obnoxious ways. Blessed are they who stick to the former.

The French churchman, Abbe Arthur Mugnier, led novelist Paul Bourget to faith. After his conversion, Bourget took his religious fervor to extremes and bored many listeners with his interminable theological arguments. Even the abbe found his new believer more than a little tiresome. One evening, in the middle of a particularly tedious monologue, Mugnier interrupted Bourget, saying, "I have two cassocks, Monssieur Bourget. Would you like one?"
