Between those who are firmly...

First Sunday of Advent

Between those who are firmly walking God's way and those who are clearly wicked there is a whole mass of people who seem difficult to place in either camp. But the call of the Bible is clear. When it comes right down to it, our choice is between God's way and some other way that is not his. This means that when we make moral choices, we are actually determining something about the direction of our lives. There is a broad road that leads to destruction and a narrow way that leads to life.

In the Book of Acts, the early Christians were sometimes referred to a people of "the Way." When those early believers chose to follow Jesus, they knew they were choosing the way of light over the way of darkness.

That is still the same choice for us today.
